Taylor Hicks Wins American Idol Season 5

Been following American Idols for quite some weeks...(mainly 'cos of my wife!). I was really facinated by the performance of Taylor Hicks and wanted him to make it. He is quite a performer and entertainer.

Katherine McPhee, Kelly Picker and Bucky were also my favourites. Simon was not that cynical this time around although Ryan, Paula, Randy and Simon were again doing all their monkey tricks on the competitors....It was like if Paula and Randy liked it then Simon must tell something negative and if they both were not quite impressed by the performance then Simon would rate it as the best performance of the evening. Good fun though!!
