Steve Irwin Dies

One of my favorite personalities Steve Irwin of Crocodile Hunter fame died yesterday (4.September, 2006) in a freak accident while filming near the Great Barrier Reef pierced in the chest by a short-tail stingray.

He was such a vibrant personality that I would never switch channels while his program was on air. If so many of us who have hardly met him mourn his loss so much then I shudder to think of the impact his death would have on his wife Teri and their two cute kids.

The last episode I saw Steve was with Aunty Edna encouraging her to feed the crocodiles in his zoo. Aunty Edna was shaking in her shoes, as would most of us, but with Steve around she did manage to feed the crocodile.

We will miss you a lot Steve! Good Bye Dr. Dolittle!!
